Adding Colour To B&W Photographs
The original B&W Photo
The original size of the black & white photograph to the right was just a few inches high but has been enlarged here in order to view it.
The photograph required light restoration work to remove slight marking and blemishes.
The Finished Image
After scanning the photograph into our computers we removed the marking, scratches and blemishes. Adjustments to the contrast, brightness and hue were made and, taking instruction from the client, colourised the photograph producing the finished image on the right.
Our client was delighted to receive a 10"x 12" coloured photograph of her parents taken many years ago.
